Who We Are

Since 1977, New England Natural Bakers have been the east coast's leading granola manufacturer,  producing exciting and nutritious all natural and organic products (including brand and private label granola and trail mix). Located in the foothills of The Berkshire Mountains in bucolic New England, New England Natural Bakers is a privately owned company that employs over 40 people full time. In addition to an extensive assortment of bulk products they offer a popular line of pouch granola that includes both organic and conventional formulations that are created with the health of the consumer in mind. In addition to brand products, New England Natural Bakers has a strong private label presence and is a co-packer of choice among discerning manufactures and retailers.

Meet the New England Natural Bakers' Team:

John Broucek, General Manager/Founder

In 1977, not long after relocating to Western, Massachusettes from Fort Wayne, Indiana, John founded New England Natural Bakers. He has been happily married for 25 years and has a son who is a recent graduate of the Culinary Arts Institute. Among his passions John lists rural homestead living as well as being eagerly involved in spiritual and interpersonal growth initiatives. Away from work John finds serenity in gardening, woodworking and "spreading Love in the world."

Pam Clark, Vice President of Sales & Marketing

In addition to directing NENB Sales & Marketing efforts, Pam is an accomplished freelance french horn player and performs with Massachusettes Symphony and Thayer Symphony Orchestra as well as local brass groups in the area. Originally from Guilford, Ct., Pam joined NENB in 1996, she currently lives in Massachusettes. with her husband Jon while her three children enjoy life at college.  In addition to music, Pam enjoys running, skiing and the outdoors.

Larry Cornick, Marketing Manager

Larry is originally from Middletown, New Jersey and spent 11 years in Los Angeles before moving to back east in 2001. After stints in the film industry, wholesale grocery industry and housewares industry, Larry settled into natural foods and joined NENB in March of 2009. Larry lives in Vermont, where he has a 13 year old daughter and is pursuing his MBA in Sustainability. He loves skiing, playing basketball and reading

Susan Dorais, Director of Human Resources

Originally from Metuchen, New Jersey Susan has been at NENB since February 2009. Upon the completion of her MBA, she worked in Human Resources Management and Organizational Development for nearly two decades.  She lives in a local Massachusetts hamlet and shares her home with her husband and cute shaggy haired dog, Monty. At one point Susan had a fine food based business; so good food is in her blood. Among her favorite activities, Susan lists: swimming, water aerobics, cooking, gardening, biking, walking, painting/drawing, reading, watching Indie movies, and book group and dinners with friends in the aforementioned hamlet.

Favorite NENB product: Organic Antioxidant Granola or Organic Muesli with Stoneyfield Plain Yogurt and fresh fruit. Successfully (most of the time) eats very small portions of Magical Mystery trail mix.

Scott Johnson, Director of Operations

Scott is originally from Elizabeth, New Jersey- However, he was raised in Western Massachusettes. He and his his wife Sara have two beautiful daughters. ages 1 1/2 and 5 years old as of this writing. Scott previous employment includes the Millwork and Natural foods industries prior to joining NENB in July 2010. When not working he would rather be, fishing, spending time with family, working on home improvement projects

Lydia, Laflamm, Customer Service/Office Manager

Lydia joined NENB in March 2009 and brings with her over 10 years in customer service & human resources experience. Lydia is originally from Old Town, Maine but has lived in Massachusetts for the last 42 years. She loves spending time with her family which includes her husband, five children and nine grandchildren. When Lydia is not at work, she loves to quilt, cook, and watch old movies or vacationing in Hawaii.

Dale Parda, Quality Assurance & IT Coordinator

Dale has been with NENB since April, 2008.Prior to joing us he was an EFT specialist in the banking industry. Originally from Gill, Massachusettes, he now resides in Montague Center and most locaL golf courses (weather permitting).  When he's not inspecting product or solving email issues, he's either golfing, watching the Red Sox & Celtics or just plain relaxing.  He also makes a mean chili and did we mention Dale likes to golf?
